Are You Ready to Race?

*Both disciplines in the one camp - options for either Off-Road OR Road cycling (and running)!  

A triathlon training camp for athletes of all levels, with a focus on both Long Distance and Off-Road Triathlon Events. 

Training opportunities include: 

Swim - training with a focus on endurance and open water skills.

Cycling - with options for road or off-road, including 2017 ITU Cross and road Tri course training.

Running - ITU and Challenge Penticton course training in on-off road environments. 

Racing - Transition set-up and practice - Nutrition and Pacing strategies. 

Coaching - The Science and Psychology of triathlon training and racing.

$399.00 CAN. (Tax IN!!)

Includes one each buffet Dinner and Breakfast.

1 Pool admission and Coached swim workout.

1 Yoga Class.

Lectures and coaching from the experts. 

Bike support and run aid stations (stocked).

*2018 Triathlon Warrior Critical Speed Camp Refund Policy - 75% of the registration fee is refundable for cancellations up until Midnight April 30th, 2017. 

For cancellations between May 1st and May 11th, 50% of the camp fee may be used toward another service* during 2018. 

Sorry, but there will be no refunds after May 11, 2018.

2018 Penticton May Camp (TENTATIVELY) starts on Friday 18th and finishes at Noon on Monday 21ST.

You may choose to attend Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon OR ALL-4-DAYS for the same price.

If attending Friday, please aim to arrive in Penticton Thursday night, May 17th or early Friday 18th.

~ Calgary athletes ~ considering a flight to Penticton, check out our bike transportation service, below.

Bike Transport Service: If you are looking for a means of transporting your bike to Penticton we have you covered. Avoid bike box charges and airline fees of $80.00-100.00. Avoid the hassles of breaking down, rebuilding, then breaking down your bike making the process very frustrating and time consuming. If you want your bike protected and safe from the elements, this is also a great option.

Up to 12 bikes will be transported in professional enclosed trailer, safe and secured. Each bike will be checked for safety. We will check for proper running drive trains and shifting as part of the service. If repairs need to be done, we will do them and a small charge may apply. Your bike will be ready to ride when you get to Penticton! All

you need to do is get there!

You must drop off your bike at CSR High Performance Studio in Calgary, (2628 19th ave SW) 48 hours before the first day of the camp. This service also includes transportation back to the CSR office for your pick up. Pick up must be within 12 hours after arrival back to Calgary.

Cost $ 100.00 per bike

Friday May 19th

10.30am - Meet and Greet - Penticton Community Centre - Meeting Room 3

11am-12noon - Pool Swim: Community Centre. 

12-1pm Lecture - Swim debrief and Cycling in LD Triathlon.

1.30pm - Bike Rides: Road or Mountain Options - 2.5 hours - Leave from Bowmont Motel

4pm - Run: (After Bike) Short Run along the Channel -  Leave from Bowmont Motel

Free Night.

 

Saturday May 20th

8-9am Departure from Bowmont for Bike: Long Road Bike (100-160km options) 

Transition Run: Optional immediately after bike ride, from Bowmont - Suggested 10-30mins.

4-5pm - Yoga Session - Sandman Hotel - Okanagan Room

6.30-9pm - Welcome Night - Dinner served at 7pm with short Lecture at 8pm.

 

Sunday May 21st

8am Depart from Bowmont Hotel - Shuttle to Tuc-el-Nuit Lave Oliver 40mins:

9-10.30am: Open Water Lake Swim and Transition Set Up and practice.

Followed by Breakfast and Lecture.

12.30pm - Long Run on the KVR or Trail Option

3pm Bike - Easy Spin recovery ride - Road or trail options.

 

Monday May 22nd

8am Depart from Bowmont Hotel - Shuttle to Tuc-el-Nuit Lave Oliver 40mins: 

9 - 9.45am: Open Water Lake Swim

11am Departure from Bowmont for Bike: Easy 1-3 hours

2pm Run available - 30-60mins
